School Christmas Play – “The Fourth Wiseman” will be presented by the St Mary’s Parochial School in Old St Mary’s on Thursday, 13th December @ 3.00pm

Bishop’s School Visit – Bishop Michael paid a pastoral visit to the Parochial School on Friday, 19th October 2012 – the children asked him to talk about food – it was very “interesting”.

Learning & Growing in Faith

Learning & Growing in Faith – Classes for Baptism, Confirmation & 7-12yr olds Venue – The Rectory Time – 4.30pm Dates – Wednesday, 7th November 2012 Wednesday, 21st November 2012 Wednesday, 28th Novemver 2012 Wednesday, 12th December 2012 These classes were particularly asked for by parents with children who are not attending our parochial school and were concerned about their children learning about their faith.

Grants from the Secondary Education Committee –

This committee operates under the auspices of the Church of Ireland and administers the government block grant granted to “Protestant” secondary schools. Application under this scheme should be with Mr David Wynne (01 4975034 or secgrant@iol.ie) before 28th February 2012 – for further information talk to the school you your child will attend from September 2012 or the Rector.
